Exchange pose!!

After staying at our home-stay (Cat Coffee) the whole day making a reaction music video, the Ambassadors came to get us in order to let us have a taste of Vietnam. They took us to a place called, “Com Tam Loan”, apparently, to eat the traditional dish, “Com Tam”. The restaurant is quite ordinary – it’s not luxurious but not humble, either. The traditional dish offers two choices of meat – chicken and pork. Since I’m always quite fond of meat without bones, I chose pork. When the food arrived, I was surprised to see a decent meal with a fair amount of rice, a pork chop, yard-long beans, steamed eggs, pork ears and, ever so important, fish sauce. I heard that fish sauce is essential in making a good Vietnamese food as people in Vietnam love to put fish sauce in every dish. I was first hesitant to eat steamed eggs as it looked like a pudding went bad but I was wrong. It tasted just as good as the rest of the potion. I was really satisfied with my meal, to be honest.

After a fulfilling meal, we went to a nice coffee shop named, “OS Coffee”. I thought it was like any other coffee shop in my county until I saw a strange name on the menu. Later, the ambassadors told me that it’s rice tea and it tasted a little weird but after three or four sips, I became to like the strange taste. We talked about our cultures and languages – and some bad words, of course.
