Vung tau is a city known for its picturesque sceneries. But the one thing that stands out is the beaches here. People legit travel to Vung tau to sit by the beach, to get a feel of the cool breezy atmosphere and reminisce on the good times.

We started at quarter past six from our hostel and it was about a 20 minute walk. We made it to the beach just after the sun set. The beach was completely deserted and our hosts had planned out some folklore games for all of us. The interns were new to some of the games and we ended up on the losing side multiple times. It was a good throwback to my childhood when I still hadn’t discovered technology for myself.

Games like tug of war took quite a heavy toll on all of us and we were all dying to get some good food. We went on to get some stir fried noodles and oysters and it was dirt cheap and fulfilling. I think folklore games are a good getaway from one’s monotonous lifestyle and it should be brought into practice more with the present generation of children and even the adults.

Great post 😁
